During these sessions, we realized that a big gap in my work was asynchronous messaging systems. There are many gaps in my book, and I never intended it to be a complete collection of patterns for enterprise development. But the gap on asynchronous messaging is particularly important because we believe that asynchronous messaging will play an increasingly important role in enterprise software development, particularly in integration. Integration is important because applications cannot live isolated from each other. We need techniques that allow us to take applications that were never designed to interoperate and break down the stovepipes so we can gain a greater benefit than the individual applications can offer us. Various technologies have been around that promise to solve the integration puzzle.

Enterprise Integration Patterns is a book by Gregor Hohpe and Bobby Woolf and describes 65 patterns for the use of enterprise application integration and message-oriented middleware in the form of a pattern language. The pattern language presented in the book consists of 65 patterns structured into 9 categories, which largely follow the flow of a message from one system to the next through channels, routing, and transformations. The book includes an icon-based pattern language, sometimes nicknamed "GregorGrams" after one of the authors. Excerpts from the book short pattern descriptions are available on the supporting website see External links. The pattern language continues to be relevant as of today, for instance in cloud application development and integration, and in the internet of things. In , the two book authors reunited—for the first time since the publication of the book—for a retrospective and interview in IEEE Software. Enterprise Integration Patterns are implemented in many open source integration solutions.
This page contains an annotated bibliography on enterprise integration and related subjects. I organized the books into four categories to make navigation and printing easier. You should purchase this ebook, i contribute downloads as a pdf, amazondx, word, txt, ppt, rar and zip. The list are different books in the country that might cultivate our training. This book gives the reader new knowledge and experience.
If you are new to Camel you might want to try the Getting Started in the User Guide before attempting to implement these patterns. How can two applications connected by a message channel exchange a piece of information? How can we perform complex processing on a message while maintaining independence and flexibility?
Utilizing years of practical experience, seasoned experts Gregor Hohpe and Bobby Woolf show how asynchronous messaging has proven to be the best strategy for enterprise integration success. However, building and deploying messaging solutions presents a number of problems for developers. Enterprise Integration Patterns provides an invaluable catalog of sixty-five patterns, with real-world solutions that demonstrate the formidable of messaging and help you to design effective messaging solutions for your enterprise. A case study describing a bond trading system illustrates the patterns in practice, and the book offers a look at emerging standards, as well as insights into what the future of enterprise integration might hold. This book provides a consistent vocabulary and visual notation framework to describe large-scale integration solutions across many technologies.
