File Name: saved a file as and there is white border.zip
You are the best!!!
The background-color is done by your app. When attempting to export a word document as a PDF file, a white border appears around the edges of the document.
Unfortunately, it's a bit time-intensive and requires some trial and error. In order to export a presentation to PDF without unwanted white borders on your Mac, here is the trick: Create a new Custom Size and define the size proportionally to the format of your presentation. See screenshot: 2. Some printers have a "margin" option you can adjust that may make white margins smaller, but it still may not eliminate them entirely. Typically when you print 4 slides in a page, there is a lot of space between the slides.

The only problem is I'm trying to use a background on my pages and also using web format because I don't want any page breaks in my files, but when I export the files to PDF format, there's always a white border around my background image, and my text winds up outside where my image is.
I want it all contained on top of this image. Is there a way to either stretch the image when I save it to PDF, or get rid of the white borders altogether so my text stays on the background image?? Further, OOo doesn't do a particularly good job with the simpler parts of the conversion. The bottom line is just what you've already found: web pages just don't look right when you import them into OOo--even in web layout mode. There's no fix for it, or any workaround, unless you just want to re-format your pages from scratch.
If you want to give us a link to a sample blog page, maybe someone here can give you some suggestions for dealing with the background layout, but I expect once that's fixed, there will still be other issues with the results. You might have better results if you skip OOo altogether and use a browser, printing to a "print to pdf" printer driver. What I'm doing is rewriting my blog posts so I can delete my blog online, but I'm trying to keep the same kind of look to it, as far as background images and things like that go.
Or am I confused by your reply? LOL I'm new to this so bear with me. OOo Writer's page background doesn't work very nicely: it only fills the area within the page margins, leaving the outside edges empty white. There is a workaround, though. Try this thread: viewtopic. I took another picture to show you my results. I seem to still have a white border on the top and bottom of the page, my text still shows up on the border instead of completely on the background image where I would like it to be, and the image was cut off some on the right side of the page.
Any other suggestions? Dummy any sensitive information. Apache OpenOffice 4. Try resizing it so that it will fill the page entirely. AOO 4. Nederlandstalig forum. Do you or does anyone else know what size would work best? That's assuming that you can dislodge the flowers, of course. My apologies I thought that if you could see what I see when I save the file it might help. I'm new to this so please bear with me. I saved as. As I've been playing around with the page settings I seem to have solved this myself.
I changed the letter box setting from portrait to landscape, and changed the image position to Area. I left the margins set at 0. While there is still a small bit of white border on the left and top of the page, my background image is stretched to the rest and not cut off.
My text also stays inside the background where I wanted it to be. Thanks again to all of you!! Normal vision, at normal reading distances, cannot distinguish finer than dpi in images no matter what the printer resolution. Reducing the illustrations to ths resolution saves space and file size. Best to try some examples to convince yourself.

We can not see what you see, so useful information would be what version of Pages, how large the borders are and what else you have on the page.

This question has been asked a million times, but I still didn't find a solution for Office Word for mac. I don't know why MS would do this as I cannot imagine anybody being happy with these annoying margins. Well, Microsoft really doesn't have anything to do with it :- Since generating a PDF actually is a print process, there are 2 primary considerations involved;.
Все прочитали: - Разница в весе незначительна… разделяются вследствие газовой диффузии… 10,032498X10134 в сравнении с 1939484X1023. - Ну вот, наконец-то! - вскрикнул Джабба. - Это и есть их вес.
